What is an affiliate program? How does it work?
An affiliate program is a revenue sharing program where the affiliate (that’s you!) drives traffic to a merchant’s web site (that’s us!) in exchange for referral commissions.
When a visitor to your site clicks on the affiliate link to our site and completes a purchase, you get a commission on every item they buy!
Once you sign up for and are accepted to our program, you’ll be taken to your Affiliate Dashboard where you’ll create your can manage all aspects of your account. Here you can log in at any time to get our banners and links, find out about commissions earned.
How do I get started?
Step 1: if you haven’t done so already, sign up for a new affiliate account here (select ‘Affiliate’ from the drop-down menu)! If you’re already registered you can log In here to access your Affiliate Dashboard.
Step 2: We manually review all applications within 1 business day. Once your application is approved, we will activate your account and notify you via email. One you have access to your affiliate dashboard you find setup instructions and banners and text links that you can put on your web site to begin earning commission.

Who can participate?
Just about anybody! Whether you run a large commercial cycling web site, a small personal blog, a non-profit site, a bike club or strava group or anything in between you’re welcome to apply to join the program.
Does it cost anything to participate?
No! As long as you are an active affiliate, all you need to do is keep linking and collect your commissions.
How are sales tracked from my site?
Once your application is accepted, you will be given a unique affiliate ID as well as custom-formatted links that will ensure that traffic coming from your site is properly tracked and attributed to your account. We maintain a 120-day cookie, meaning that if a visitor clicks on a link from your site, you are credited with the sale as long as the visitor purchases within 120 days.
SportiveBreaks.com records transactions from your site in real time, meaning that sales are tracked instantly. The SportiveBreaks.com Affiliate Area has all of the reports and tracking resources you’ll need to track and analyze how you’re doing in terms of sales and revenue.
How much will I earn? How and when do I get paid?
All new affiliates can earn commissions of 5% on order total.
SportiveBreaks.com pays affiliates monthly via PayPal when the commission balance is £25 or more.

Once your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail welcoming you into our affiliate program. It will include all the instructions you need to get started. If you’re ready to start adding links to your site, check out the next section on creating tracker links & banners to SportiveBreaks.
How do I create affiliate tracker links to SportiveBreaks.com?
Firstly, login to your account and you will be redirected to the affiliate dashboard page (you can access this page via the menus if you are already logged in).
If your account is active, you will see a text-link containing your affiliate id – this is your tracker link.
