The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge has joined the UCI Gran Fondo World Series in 2023 as an official sanctioned race. Covering 92km on the day, challengers will ride across Dubai and take in the Emirate’s breath-taking scenery while zooming across major city roads – all closed just for the event.
Officially launched in 2011, the UCI Gran Fondo World Series features 28 sanctioned qualifying races across the globe with top cyclists competing in UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in August 2023 in Scotland. If you are aged 19 and over and have entered in the 94.8km Main Event or Invitational/Elite category, then you will have the opportunity to qualify. The top 20% of cyclists riding in this year’s 94.8km Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge will qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, which will be held in Scotland in August 2023.

Qualify for Glasgow 2023: Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. Participants are eligible to qualify for the UCI World Finals held in Glasgow, Scotland in August 2023

Please make your own arrangements to arrive in Dubai today. We offer private airport transfers from Dubai airport to our hotel the Park Inn by Radisson motor city.
What about my bike?
You can bring your own bike as we will make arrangements to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel.
Our Hotel
Set within the Dubai Autodrome complex, this eclectic, modern hotel in a curved building is 30 km from Dubai International Airport. There’s a bright restaurant, an airy Belgian bar, and a lobby lounge featuring a vintage Ferrari. A rooftop outdoor pool is flanked by a sundeck, and a juice bar with views of the city. Other amenities consist of a spa and a fitness room.
The evening is free for you to eat out at a local restaurant.
After breakfast and preparing the bikes, we will take you on a supported, guided ride. Our Training ride will be on the Al Qudra Cycle Track with support vehicle and ride leader.
This afternoon we offer Race Village transfers so you can enjoy the pre-race atmosphere and collect your bib and register for tomorrow’s race.
The evening is free for you to eat out at a local restaurant.
We have an early start this morning. Early breakfasts are arranged in the hotel restaurant. The start and finish of the event are at Dubai Sports City, just 2 miles away from the hotel
This evening, join us for our celebratory dinner on the Marina Dhow Cruise (including hotel transfers, 90 mins cruising, international buffet dinner with welcome drinks, tea, and coffee, Tanura show.
We offer private airport transfers from the hotel back to Dubai airport.
More About the Event
The Main Event is the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge, and it will take place on Sunday 19 February 2023. The Junior Rides will take place on Saturday 18 February 2023. The event takes take place on the streets of Dubai, starting and finishing at Dubai Sports City.

Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is Dubai’s biggest mass participation cycling race. Launched in 2010, it is now one of the Middle East’s premium sporting races and attracts thousands of cyclists from all around the world.
Following the addition of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge to the official UCI Gran Fondo World Series in 2022, the 2023 edition will also see participants be eligible to qualify for the UCI World Finals held in Glasgow, Scotland in August 2023.
